Long rumoured, the deal to sell Holden-built Chev badged cars to US police forces is essentially a done deal.
Production of the police cars would start at the end of 2010, putting cars on the beat in early 2011.
Holden will sell V8 versions first but direct-injected V6 version will follow nine months later.
